You’ll want to experiment and find what works best for you (wherein your videos should you remind people?) and make sure that you explain any terminology if needed (the terms “subscribe,” “ring the bell” etc.).
A few other things:
- If your channel is connected to other social media platforms, ask viewers to subscribe there as well! They will get notified whenever you post something new on those platforms too.
- You can also link your video descriptions back to older content that was successful.

- Post on other social media sites and link back to your YouTube page. Use Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more to direct viewers to your YouTube channel. This is a surefire way to increase your views!
- Use these platforms to engage with your audience, too. Ask them what they would like to see in the next video and ask them for feedback on videos you have already produced. The more you respond to comments and input from viewers, the more they will feel connected with your channel.
